About My Work

“To design is much more than simply to assemble, to order,
or even to edit: it is to add value and meaning, to illuminate, to simplify,
to clarify, to modify, to dignify, to dramatize, to persuade, and
perhaps even to amuse. To design is to transform prose into poetry.”
–Paul Rand

I’ve worked as a freelance graphic designer and print production
manager for over twenty years, designing and managing
the production of publications and marketing materials for museums,
galleries, cultural organizations and corporate clients.
My work
is grounded in “design thinking”: analyzing relationships, clarifying
messages, and generating visual solutions that communicate
client messages in fresh and compelling ways.
