Print Production

I held the position of Print Production Manager for Canadian Art magazine from 2015 to 2021. The job entailed preparing and pre-flighting the magazine for print: managing colour corrected images; checking and troubleshooting production issues; managing and finalizing the Art Director’s InDesign files; laying out ad pages; creating press-ready PDFs, outputing proofs; inputing and tracking editorial and image changes; overseeing the sign-off of files and uploading them to the printer. I also carried out press press checks; and produced and digital versions of each issue for distribution on digital platforms.
